How to Find Your Remote Worker: A Quick Guide
Search by skills, availability, and preferences to find the right match—fast.
Finding the perfect remote worker shouldn’t be overwhelming. Whether you need someone for 5 hours a week or a full-time sidekick who’s a whiz at bookkeeping and social media, your Eqeepo dashboard is built to make it easy.
This quick guide walks you through the smartest ways to search—using keywords, filters, and a few helpful tricks to narrow things down and find someone who actually fits what you need.
Step 1: Head to Your Dashboard
Go to eqeepo.com to access the dashboard. This is where the search magic begins.
Step 2: Start with the Search Bar
At the top of your dashboard, you’ll see a search bar. This is your go-to tool if you already know what skill you're looking for (e.g. “Copywriting,” “Video Editing,” or “Digital Marketing”)
Step 3: Use Popular Skills as a Shortcut
Just below the search bar, you’ll find a list of popular skills other clients frequently look for. These are great if you’re not exactly sure what role you need but have a general idea (like “Administrative Work,” “Graphic Design,” or “Lead Generation”).
Clicking on a popular skill will auto-populate the search with workers who are experienced in that area—super helpful if you're still figuring out what you need.
Step 4: Filter by Role + Skills
Want someone who wears multiple hats? Use the Filter feature to narrow things down. You can filter by:
Role: For example, “Executive Assistant,” “Marketing Assistant,” “Customer Service Rep,” etc.
Skills: Combine roles with key skills—like “Executive Assistant”, “Bookkeeping” or “Social Media”
Step 5: Filter by Location
Need someone in a specific region or time zone? Whether it’s for overlapping work hours or language/cultural familiarity, the Location filter lets you narrow your search to workers based in particular countries or areas.
You’ll see the worker’s country listed in their profile, along with their time zone and availability—so you can make sure everything aligns before reaching out.
Step 6: Filter by Hourly Rate
Budget matters—and we've made it easy to filter workers based on what you're looking to spend. On the search page, you can use the Hourly Rate filter to narrow your options by price range:
$0 – $8/hour – Great for simple admin tasks, data entry, basic research, or if you're just starting out.
$8 – $12/hour – Ideal for more specialized support like customer service, executive assistance, or social media management.
$12 – $20/hour – For finding experienced professionals handling high-level tasks like project management, or graphic design and video editing.
$20+/hour – Best for niche experts or roles requiring deep skill sets, such as website or software development.
You’ll see each remote worker’s hourly rate clearly displayed on their profile, so you know exactly what to expect before reaching out.
Tip: Don’t just look at the number—consider the value. A higher rate might mean less training and more initiative from day one.
Step 7: Browse the Profiles That Match
As you start applying filters, your dashboard will instantly update with matching candidates. Click on any name or profile photo to open their full work profile, which includes:
Hourly rate
Weekly availability
Time zone
Skills, tools, and platforms they’re familiar with
Bio with past experience
Hobbies and personal interests
Client references (when available)
Pro tip: If you’re torn between a few people, save time by booking quick intro calls to feel out the chemistry and ask about your specific needs.
Step 8: Let the Platform Work for You
Don’t forget—on the right-hand side of the dashboard, you’ll also see suggested workers based on your current search. These are smart recommendations that might surface someone you didn’t even know you needed.
Final Tips for a Better Match
Don’t skip the call. A quick call can clarify a lot and boost your chances of a great long-term working relationship.
Be clear in your search. The more specific you are, the better the matches the platform will offer.
Bookmark favorites. Keep tabs on great candidates even if you’re not ready to hire yet.
That’s It! You’re Ready to Search Like a Pro.
Searching for your ideal remote worker doesn’t have to be hard or time-consuming. With a few smart filters and a little clarity on what you need, you’ll be looking at qualified, available candidates in no time.
If you’ve made it this far—congrats! You’re already halfway to more time, better systems, and one less thing on your plate.
