Hiring Flow: From Searching to Your First Remote Worker
Your step-by-step guide to finding, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding your remote worker.
Whether you're drowning in tasks or simply want more time for what matters most, hiring a remote worker can be a game-changer. This guide will walk you through the entire process—from searching for candidates to fully onboarding your first team member—using your Eqeepo dashboard. Let’s get started.
Step 1: Head to the Search Page
Visit our home page, where you’ll find everything you need to search and filter remote workers.
Use the search bar if you have a specific skill or keyword in mind. Right below it, you’ll see popular skills commonly searched by other clients—great for inspiration if you’re unsure where to start.
Prefer a more tailored search? The Filter feature lets you search by role (like “Executive Assistant”) and combine that with a specific skills (like “Accounting” or “Bookkeeping”) to find someone who fits both.
Step 2: Review a Candidate’s Profile
Once someone catches your eye, click their name or featured photo to open their full work profile.
Here, you’ll find key details at a glance:
Job title
Hourly rate
Availability
Location
A short bio including their experience and skills
Tools they’re proficient in
Hobbies and interests
References from past work (when available)
You’ll also see similar workers on the right-hand side of the dashboard—perfect for comparing options.
Step 3: Book a Call
If a worker looks like a good fit, you can book a call to learn more.
During the call, you can:
Ask about their previous experience
Share your needs and expectations
Get a feel for whether they’re a good fit
The goal isn’t to grill them—it’s just a relaxed conversation to see if you’re on the same page.
Step 4: Hire Your Remote Worker
If the call goes well (or you’re confident already), go ahead and click the Hire Me button on their profile.
You’ll be prompted to create an account—either through Google or manually with your name, email, and password.
Next, you’ll be asked to submit a small refundable deposit to officially kick things off.
And that’s it—you’ve just hired your first remote worker. 🎉
